Biography

Jocelyn Cowls is an occupational therapist with a Masters in Occupational Science. She has worked in mental health for over 28 years with populations ranging from PostTraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to mood disorders, eating disorders and addictions. For 16 years Jocelyn worked at Homewood Health Centre, in one of the few inpatient programs in Canada treating people with PTSD.  As  a private clinician, a large majority of her clients are first responders i.e. police officers, paramedics and firefighters or members of the Canadian Forces.
